In the western highlands of Guatemala, there is a high demand for general medical care specialties but low availability of that care. Common health issues include:

Many people from surrounding communities, and as far away as Southern Mexico, travel long distances by foot, bus, and sometimes car, to receive care at the HdlF’s Regional Medical Center.

  • A 24-hour laboratory staffed by three certified laboratory technicians to support secure diagnosis and continuous patient monitoring.
  • The Dr. Keith Nolop Pharmacy provides low-cost or free medications to ensure continuous, effective treatment for every patient’s healing journey.
